Please, tell me more.

Temba is my happy, goofy, brindle mutt. I adopted him from Lucky Dog Animal Rescue with my boyfriend in August 2017. He is a double shelter transfer from Georgia via South Carolina. A southern boy at heart, he is acclimating well to city life.

Temba’s favorite activities are eating, running, and napping. He loves trips to the dog park, sitting on balconies watching the world pass beneath him, and playing in Temescal Creek Park with his friends.

He excels at rapidly consuming food, sleeping in positions that couldn’t possibly be comfortable, and finding that one treat that bounced behind the sofa two weeks ago but still smells good. Areas marked for improvement include rapidly consuming food, sleeping in positions that couldn’t possibly be comfortable, and finding that one treat that bounced behind the sofa two weeks ago but still smells good.

Since we adopted him, Temba has been on numerous adventures, including splashing in Lake Tahoe, watching coyotes in Sibley Volcanic Regional Reserve, hiking the Appalachian Mountains, kayaking on the Potomac, and sniffing everything in Central Park.
